Treasurer's Report: $12,392.08 Move to accept Linda; second Jacqueline
Old Business:
- A.Windmill - in progress; in John’s warehouse
- B. Easements
- ----1. Temple View needs to be updated
- ----2. Rick Case (Farm Park) has not closed yet
- ----3. Oak Park on Flaming Road has not been executed yet.
Festivals:
- A. Orange Blossom will take place on February 25, 26
- ----1. We will set up our booth with the Farm Park
- ----2. We will offer the little pots and seeds for $1 donation
- ----3. Our t-shirts for $10
- ----4. Discussed “chicken drop” as fund raiser
- ----5. Volunteers (flexible and open for revision)

Called to order at 7:20pm

Treasurers Report:
- A. Balance is $12,412.46
- B. John has a $10.00 check from Water Matters Day and a $100.00 check from Joyce Steward.
- C. Fred completed a Uniform Business Report and paid $61.00; and filed our tax retuns.
Old Business:
- A. There are no minutes from the previous meeting.
- B. Windmill - in progress.
- C. We made $10.00 at Water Matters Day
New Business:
- A. We need to talk to Jeremy at Becker Poliakoff regarding the easement documents. We will need a meeting.
- B. We no longer have a mailbox at Davie Town Hall. Our phone number answers with "call cannot be completed as dialed", dead phone number.John will check and see if he can put it on his VOIP system. Michael Bartlett will remove phone number from website.
- C. Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce started a non-profit networking group. Grant database, grant writers who could write a grant for us. Fred is going to look into that.
- D. Jacqueline will do a video of the windmill installation.
- E. Linda moved to change our meetings to every other month, first Monday of even-numbered months. Fred seconded.

- A. Balance is $12,536.20
- B. Move to accept- Linda; second, Jacqueline
Old Business:
- A. Windmill is assembled, almost erected. It is 24’ high. Todd or Michael will get a truck to help John lift it.
- B. Easements - John will talk to Phil Holstee to find out about the easements and set up a meeting to discuss them.
New Business:
- A. Dedication of windmill - Our goal is to have the dedication at our Annual Meeting at Robbins Lodge with Farm Bureau on Saturday November 4th or Sunday November 5th.
Next meeting:Monday, October 2, at Davie's Best Pizza, Davie Road. 7:00pm.

Old Business:
- A. Approval of May minutes. Moved to approve by Linda, seconded by Fred.
- B. Approval of August minutes. Moved to approve by Fred, seconded by Jacqueline.
New Business:
- A. Windmill is standing in Robbins Park. It is 21 feet high.
- --1. Alexander Landscaping donated the plants
- --2. Girl Scouts planted the butterfly garden: Jacqueline and Jillian Ladue, Emily Rodriguez, Elizabeth Cooley
- B. Annual meeting will take place on Sunday, November 5, at 12:00 noon at the Davie Womans Club on Orange Drive.
- C. Dedication of windmill
- --1. Judy Paul will do the dedication on Saturday, November 4, at 1:00pm.
- --2. We will wear our DALT shirts.
- --3. Town of Davie will provide refreshments.
- --4. Dedication plaque
- D. Conservation easements. We already got approval for one of them. John will ask Phil Holste to which property.
- E. We are no longer receiving mail at Town Hall. No mailbox.
- F. Phone number. We no longer have one. Ask Michael to get a phone number from Google and have it forwarded to our webmaster.
